Artisan Breadmaking Class

6 week Artisan bread making programme We are delighted to announce that start of a 6 week Artisan bread making programme to begin on Tuesday 23rd March 2010. The programme will be run by Master Baker Michelle O Connor.

If you are interested please email tj.oconnor@staff.ittralee.ie  or phone 066 7191807. The Cost of the programme is €210 euro. It is important to note that this is a hands on practical programme, and participants will be producing all items outlined below.


6 week course- (1 x 3hr class – per week) Starting Tuesday-23rd March 2010  (Time 6-9)

Week 1(23/3/10) - Pan Bread- white/ brown & introduction into fermentation

Week 2(30/3/10) - Oatmeal pan & Waterford Blah/ Yorkshire tea cakes

Week 3(13/4/10) - Milk Bread & London Bloomers

Week 4(20/4/10) - Plaited bread & Bridge Rolls

Week 5(27/4/10) - Soda Breads (variety of sweet & savoury)

Week 6(6/5/10) - Holzfallerbrot (Woodcutters Bread) & Party brot.
