ITT Library

The library in IT Tralee is at the centre of student academic life in both North and South Campuses.  Professional library staff are available for consultation on information searches and retrieval.  The Library also holds extensive book and reference material available to industry, business and community groups who are encouraged to avail of the Library facilities. New Library Information Resource Centre (LIRC)

The new Library and Information Resource Centre (LIRC) on the North Campus opened in June 2009. Built at a cost of €10.733 million, the Library building has seating for 439 students over three floors as well as shelving for over 60,000 books.

There are over 100 PCs for both research and project use. Throughout the Library there are also desk-top plug in facilities for laptop computers – 72 spaces in total - to maximize the flexibility of access to IT facilities.

· User Education Room / Diagnostic Centre

· Two Meeting Rooms

· The Cube( Research Area / Reading Room)

· 439 seating spaces

· 107 PCs

· 72 lap top spaces
