Library Services

Services provided by the IT Libraries include:

Online Patron Services
This facility enables library members to view their records and renew their books online, as well as suggest a book to purchase.

Inter-Library Loans
This subsidised service allows patrons to borrow items such as books, journal articles and theses from other libraries.

Photocopying
Self-service photocopying facilities are available in both North and South Campus libraries.

Computer Access
Computers are available in both libraries to enable users to do research and to access Online Databases.

Membership
All staff and students of the Institute are members of the library, however limited membership is available to external users when authorised by the Librarian.

User Education
Educating patrons in utilising the resources in the library is a vital service. Among the user education services provided are library inductions for first years, information skills training for classes and individual tutorials.
