During 2006/2007, all Higher Certificate and Ordinary Degree courses were funded through the European Social Fund. Fees were paid for all eligible students, while the maintenance element was means tested. Students on Degree Programmes are not eligible for Third Level Training (TLT) funding but may qualify for a Grant or Scholarship through application to their VEC or Local Authority offices.

Students who are eligible for ESF grants will be paid at regular intervals throughout the academic year but must, in the first instance, complete all aspects of the registration process, including the Registration Form stamped by your bank indicating that your bank account number is correct together with a grant approval letter from your local VEC, if appropriate.
