Research Ethics Committee
If you are applying to conduct research in the Nursing & Health Care Studies Department, please submit your research proposal to the Research Ethics Committee.
Application Procedures
Application must be submitted 10 days in advance of the committee meeting date in which you wish your submission to be considered. The submission can be sent by post, the postal address can be found on the submission checklist, or placed in our post box outside the administration office on the ground floor of the Sólás Building, North Campus.

Please note the following before sending the application:
- Please insert your comments onto the page if requested
- Please provide all application documentation to be submitted (see submission checklist)
Otherwise the application will be returned WITHOUT REVIEW by the committee.
The chair will be writing to you with a decision following their meeting.
