Course Information
You can undertake a 4 year B.Sc. course in either General or Psychiatric Nursing in the Department of Nursing and Health Care Studies. There are 60 Places per year for general nursing students and 20 places for psychiatric nursing students.You will spend about half your time in class and half your time in placement.

Practical Work & Career Opportunities
During the Course.....
You will go to general and pyschiatric nursing placements not only in Tralee but in Bantry, and throughout Kerry. Our students go to Killarney, Caherciveen, Dingle, Listowel, Castleisland, Rathmore and many other places. These placements may be for a number of weeks.
After the Course.... Nursing - 'A passport to travel'
Former Tralee nursing students are now working in Australia, Saudi Arabia and other middle eastern courtries, America, Canada, Africa and across Europe.Irish Nurses are welcome throughout the world.
