Pat Flanagan is a member of the Kerry Backroom team on consultancy basis, previously the physical trainer Flanagan is now in charge of the team’s weight programmes. Flanagan was in charge of the team’s fitness during their winning periods of 2004 and 2006. The Kerry team won the All Ireland Senior Football Championship in these years with Flanagan as the physical trainer. Pat is a former Irish sprint champion with Waterford Athletics club. He was the trainer of the Tralee IT team when they successfully won the Sigerson Cup, in February of 1999.
