Leading Irish Entrepreneur Mr. Denis O'Brien Visits The ITT

Leading Irish Entrepreneur 4thJune07 img 1 Mr. Oâ¿¿Brien was given a rapturous round of applause after he delivered a lecture in Business and Entrepreneurship at the Institute of Technology, Tralee recently. Mr. Oâ¿¿Brien shared his experiences in business and entrepreneurship with students at the Institute. His candid lecture brought students through his journey of success from his college days to his standing as an international business leader today.

A key message from his delivery to students highlighted that there is learning from both success and failure. Mr. Oâ¿¿Brienâ¿¿s extensive experience and detailed illustrations had students in awe at his visionary and leadership qualities. A questions and answers session followed which gave students the opportunity to discuss points raised during the lecture.

While at the Institute, Mr. Oâ¿¿Brien also visited the state of the art broadcasting Leading Irish Entrepreneur 4thJune07 img 2 studios, where he was interviewed by the Institutes Radio Society â¿¿WingITâ¿¿ live across the North Campus.

The visit from Mr. Oâ¿¿Brien followed on from the Newstalk 106-108fm Case Study Student Enterprise Competition, where a team from the Institute were among the finalists which was Chaired by Mr. Oâ¿¿Brien.
