The courses offered by the Institute reflect the changing needs of a wide range of disciplines for working professionals and those looking for a change in career.
Michael Carmody, President of the Institute of Technology Tralee commented â¿¿It is widely accepted that lifelong learning is crucial for the sustainability and growth of Irelandâ¿¿s economy. The Institute is committed to providing a range of programmes which address the needs of the lifelong learner, thereby ensuring the continued development of the south-west region.â¿ In addition Mr. Carmody commented â¿¿Adults are often unaware of the flexible nature of higher level study these days. Some people might want to do a one off course but others may want to build up to a degree in small stages. The flexibility of the programmes offered through the Institute gives people this choice. This year, we are delighted to introduce a number of Minor Awards which offer a new and flexible qualification structure. With all ITT accredited part-time courses, students can attend lectures in the evenings or take lectures by day on a part-basis through our ACCS programme.â¿
The Instituteâ¿¿s Lifelong Learning Department offers the highest quality of courses whilst providing the flexibility of part-time learning together with world-class education and professional development. Courses offered range from short courses, certificates, degrees and masters across a wide range of disciplines.
