International Day competition themed 'My EU Life'
As part of the International Day held on Wednesday 1st December at the IT, Tralee, Transition Year students were presented with prizes acknowledging their success in the IT Tralee â¿¿My EU Life Projectâ¿.
As part of this initiative, the Institute worked with six schools in the county, on a pilot basis, whereby a presentation was given to the transition year students about life in Europe. Following this presentation, students were encouraged to enter a competition themed â¿¿My EU Lifeâ¿.
The competition accepted entries in the form of Artwork, Essays, Poetry and Posters. The â¿¿My EU Life Projectâ¿ was funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs under the Communicating Europe Initiative (see www.eumatters.ie ).
