IT Tralee Celebrates International Day - Wednesday December 1st 2010
Students from Italy, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, France, Poland, Germany, China, Netherlands, Nigeria, Slovakia, Turkey, Finland, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Kenya, South Africa, Sweden, Columbia, Argentina and Spain had information stands about their home countries. Many students wore traditional dress and samples of food prepared by the students from across the globe were available for all to taste and enjoy. This year IT Tralee attracted over 400 international students to study at the Institute. The International day celebration concluded with an ITT International student reception at the Hotel, Catering and Tourism Building. As part of the International Day held on Wednesday 1st December at the IT, Tralee, Transition Year students were presented with prizes acknowledging their success in the IT Tralee â¿¿My EU Life Projectâ¿. The International students studying at the IT, Tralee hosted an International Day, on Wednesday December 1st 2010 between 9.30 am and 3.00 pm in the T and R blocks of the Business and IT building in the North Campus.
