On 1, March, 2008, 16 MBA students will travel to Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) in Gujerat, and to Mumbai for an intensive seven day fact-finding mission. The aim of the visit, which will comprise a series of lectures, field trips and meetings, is to provide the postgraduates with an understanding of the Indian economy and the factors that are contributing to its development and success. Students will also look at emerging business opportunities in India and how an Irish company could brand and market a product or service in India. In addition to learning about Indian business culture, students will meet existing international corporations to see how they are operating.
