Hotel, Culinary and Tourism Department Receive Food Safety Assurance Award

The Food Safety Professionals Association recently  awarded the Tralee Institute of Technology, Department of Hotel, Culinary & Tourism, external accreditation for food safety standards. This accreditation recognises organisations across all areas of the food industry, who work to implement best practice and be in compliance with the food regulations. Following inspection the FSPA auditor indicated that a committed team work and teach in superb facilities where excellent operational hygiene shines through.

Head of section T.J O Connor said that this award is recognition and testament to the commitment of all who work within the department. All staff lead by example of best practice to ensure that students experience is the very best that can be offered.
