Indian Ambassador to Ireland Visits IT, Tralee

The Indian Ambassador to Ireland Mrs Radhika Lal Lokesh recently visited the Institute of Technology, Tralee as part of a visit to Kerry. During her visit she met with some of Kerry’s largest enterprises including Dairymaster and FEXCO as well as successful start-up companies at the Tom Crean Business Centre ViClarity and RigBag.

Accompanied by Jerry Moloney, South West Regional Director, Enterprise Ireland and Ray O’Connor, IDA Ireland, the Ambassador toured the Kerry Technology Park and Tom Crean Business Centre and attended a lunch hosted by Dr Oliver Murphy, President of the IT, Tralee. Following this the Ambassador toured the IMaR Technology Gateway laboratories at the South Campus meeting the Centre manager Dr Ultan McCarthy and the Centre’s postgraduate researchers two of whom are from India.
