Club Travel are launching a Travel Consultant Training and Internship Programme commencing 15th October .

Club Travel Trainee Travel Consultant Programme 2012
Recognised as a leading Training Ground of Travel Service Excellence in Ireland, Club Travel is seeking 10 Trainee Travel consultants to participate in our Full Time Training Programme which will include many industry Recognised courses and certification. The aim of the programme is to identify candidates who are interested in a career as, and have the potential to become full time Travel Consultants. Club Travel are Ireland’s largest Travel Agency with over 120 employees, with an on-going requirement for new recruits due to continued growth.

Stage One – Training Course & Internship – 10 Weeks to 21st December
The training course is provided Free of Charge to suitable candidates who will also receive a € 50 allowance per week to participate. It is not open to all – applicants must demonstrate a keen interest Travel and the Travel Industry, and preferably have completed a relevant 3rd level course. Applicants are also welcome from the Job Bridge Government Initiative where the allowance of €50 per week on top of their social welfare entitlement will be paid. Training will be a mix of Classroom Training ( Mornings) and On-the-job training, in the afternoons.
It is envisaged we will take 10 trainees on, and cover both Industry relevant but also Club Travel dedicated training subjects.

Stage Two – Trainee Travel Consultant – 3 months – Jan to March 2013
Full time positions will be available at the end of the course to Trainees who have completed successfully Stage One the training course and in our view, are worthwhile of continued investment and development training.
The focus of this stage will be on the job training, with each candidate assigned to a specific department and mentor. Continued classroom training will be offered based on continual assessment and skills gap identification. Trainees will be required to complete the IATA Travel and Tourism Consultant programme, the cost of which will be borne by the Company subject to terms and conditions. In addition to some inhouse lectures and mentoring, Trainees will be expected to study and complete modules outside of office hours.
Trainees will be paid during the 10 week training programme at the National Trainee Rate which is €6.49 per hour (75% of national minimum wage rate) or continue as a participant of the Job Bridge programme.

Stage Three – Trainee Travel Consultant – 3 months – April to June 2013
After an assessment at the end of stage 2, it is envisaged that the Company will offer the trainee the option to continue as a Junior Travel Consultant Trainee, with a view to offering a full time Junior Travel Consultant position at the end of stage 3. Trainees will also be required to complete and sit the exams for the IATA Travel and Tourism Consultant programme held in early June 2013.
Trainees will be paid at the Stage 3 National Trainee Rate of €6.92 per hour.

Stage Four – Permanent Junior Travel Consultants
Once the Training programme and Internship is completed, we intend of offer Trainees a Full Time Permanent Position at minimum wage.
Junior Consultants wage will be paid the National Trainee Rate of €7.79 per hour for the first 3 months (July to September 2013), and then at the Minimum Wage of € 8.65 thereafter.
Career progression and salary increments will be available on a merit based system once made permanent.

3. TF Install NXE - Mechanical Install Engineer

Job Description
Equipment build up (Mechanical Install) of the EUV platform at the customer site: • Move-in, unpack, unlock and mechanically install system modules. • Route and connect cabling + water/gas/vacuum hoses. • Power-on the system and initialize software drivers. • Transfer a fully assembled system, ready to operate, to the system integration team. Note: Work in accordance with the installation sequence and installation procedures. • Perform administrative and coordination duties incl. reporting and technical escalations. • Contribute to the improvement loop of the EUV platform and processes. • Represent ASML at the customer site in a professional way incl. cultural awareness. • Equipment build up takes 4 – 6 weeks to complete. • Expected to travel 60 - 75% of the time to customers worldwide. • Expected to work inside the clean room, working with mechanical and electrical equipment. (1) Youth Space Worker  19.5 hours
The youth Space worker will work with in the Family Resource centre Youth Space in organising various groups and activities such as Drop-in centres, 6th class transition group and sports Access projects for young people in the local area aged 12 -18 years.
Groups running at the moment include Intergenerational groups, Youth drop-in, Garda youth diversion project, Sports Access, Affordable grinds and Community Arts.
Other activities will include organising Youth related seasonal camps i.e. Summer and Easter and networking closely with agencies such as Jigsaw and Garda Youth Diversion Projects to develop projects.
The youth space worker will help organise any special projects, fundraising, outings and visits.
• The youth space worker will work closely with FRC staff in providing a safe environment for young people from the local area to participate in activities.

• The youth space worker will receive training in child protection and youth leadership.

(2) After schools Worker: 19.5hours
The After schools opens 2-6pm Monday to Friday


The role of After schools worker would include:

1. The After School Assistant will support all developmental programmes so as to provide for the children’s physical, emotional, social and cognitive development.

2. Together with other staff, the After School Assistant will create a friendly relaxed atmosphere, which establishes in the children a feeling of security, confidence, and trust.

3. The After School Assistant will be ready to welcome the children when they arrive.


4. The After-Schools Assist will assist in the collection of the children from collection points at the appropriate time.

5. The After School Assistant will assist in the supervision of homework.

6. The After School Assistant will undertake certain domestic duties within the service e.g. preparation of snacks/meals, cleansing of equipment etc.

7. The After School Assistant will support all staff and work as part of a team.

8. The After School Assistant will contribute to maintaining equipment and materials.


9. The After School Assistant will help organise any special projects, fundraising, outings and visits.

Learner Outcome
The worker will gain practical experience in the delivery of in-school and out of school programmes for pupils primarily in the school setting and in the delivery of a range of sporting and recreation programmes. This is a joint initiative with Kerry Recreation & Sports Partnership and Partner Agencies – KES & ITT respectively.

The worker will receive formal / informal training in the following: -

Person Specification

Chinese Scholarship Council
The Chinese Scholarship Council of the Peoples Republic of China has offered one scholarship to an Irish postgraduate student, undergraduate student or student of advanced study to study in China for  the academic year 2013/2014. 
 
Further information and forms (including foreigner physical examination form) relating to the Chinese Government Scholarship Programme 2013 -2014 can be obtained from the website: www.csc.edu.cn/laihua
 
The Chinese Higher Education Institutions admitting international students can also be found on this website. Please note the application procedures for a Chinese Government Scholarship. Any applicants or application documents that do not conform with the regulations of the Chinese Scholarship Council will not be considered valid and will not be accepted.
 
Applicants are required to log on to the website http://laihua..csc.edu.cn and submit their application on line. Please
ensure that you have read all the attachments to this email - including 'Instructions to students for on line application' before you begin your application for the above named scholarship.
 
Two copies of the submitted on line application, the requested paper application form and all other supporting documents should be returned to the Department of Education and Skills, International Section, Marlborough Street, Dublin 1. Completed application papers must be received in this office no later than 5.30 pm on Wednesday 20 March 2013. Any documentation submitted to this office in Chinese will require an official English translation.

Lingue Senza Frontiere Srl is an Italian company that teaches English through Theatre In Education (T.I.E.) and organises English Summer Camps throughout Italy from early June to September.  Our team has been working with hundreds of schools and thousands of participants over the years.

We are looking for tutors to teach English in our day camps for Italian children aged 7-14. The camps run for 2 weeks. Our tutors teach in an interactive and fun way through games, songs, activities, etc. All materials are provided plus a free 4-day training course.

Requirements:
You should be a native English speaker, between the age of 20-30, with a bubbly character
and a genuine interest in working with children. Italian is not required but useful.
