Primary School Teaching Each year a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Education is delivered subject to approval by the Department of Education. It is possible to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Ireland if you have a minimum of a Leaving Certificate grade C in the higher paper. It is also possible to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in the UK without the honours Irish, however you will have to complete an Irish test once you return to Ireland to teach.
