The Getting College-Ready Calendar of Events is a suite of events and activities designed to raise awareness of the student experience, programmes of study in higher education, admissions requirements and academic skills required for success in third-level as we develop a suite of events with the Institute’s Academic Departments to promote access, transfer and progression.
Access 21@ IT Tralee
The Access 21@ IT Tralee project is addressing educational disadvantage by supporting post-secondary educational progression for students in DEIS post-primary schools in Co. Kerry.
In partnership with Trinity College, the Access 21 @ IT Tralee project supports its partner schools in Kerry to develop and expand 'college-going' cultures.
Access 21 aims to transform the Irish education system, in partnership with schools, communities, other education organisations and businesses, so that every student has the opportunity to reach their full educational potential.

ITT is part of the HEAR (Higher Education Access Route) national admissions scheme which offers places on reduced points and extra college support to school leavers under 23 years old from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Read More
