Subject:- Equipment for Tanzania & Kenya. Date:- 24/09/01
Dear Colleagues, Friends, & Supporters
We hope to be packing the project equipment for Africa in mid. Nov. There will probably be considerable space left over, especially if it is a 40' container, and rather than transport 'fresh air' so to speak, we would be grateful for donations or gifts of items, which would be useful to, the people in the Diocese of Nakuru in Central Kenya, and the vocational school in Singida,Tanzania.
We now enclose a list of equipment which we believe would be useful:-. â¿¢ Bicycles.& hand operated sewing machines. â¿¢ Heavy duty clean plastic bags and containers. â¿¢ Hand tools, in particular electrical tool kit, test meter, masonry tools, spanners & wrenches, ladder, set of high steps etc. which will be used during installation of the equipment and then become the property of the Plant Maintenance Dept.
â¿¢ Blankets, sheets, towels, pillows, but no clothes & pots & pans, â¿¢ Surplus first aid/medical equipment. We require a fully equipped first aid wall mounted locker & two fire extinguishers for the building containing the oil processing plant in Nakuru. â¿¢ Financial donations towards the cost of shipment etc., estimated at £5500.00 min. for a 40' container
Many thanks for your support and interest in our ' labours-over the past fifteen years
