David Clifford - Gaelic Football
Kerry
The MTU Kerry Campus Sports Scholarship Programme really looks after its athletes. There are supports in place to ensure that you can excel both academically and in your sporting career. The Mentoring programme is just one example of this and it is hugely beneficial for scholarship students to have the support of an academic mentor.
Monika Dukarska - Rowing
The MTU Kerry Campus scholarship enabled me to pursue rowing at a high-performance level. I was able to cover my expenses and the support offered as part of the scholarship ensured that my studies were not compromised. As a scholarship student, I was able to represent the college at the World University Games and gain valuable experience as an international rower. Without the scholarship, full-time training would be impossible and I wouldn't be able to excel at rowing and my education. The MTU Kerry Campus takes care of its athletes and I appreciate the support I received. Thank you MTU Kerry Campus.
Shane Nolan - Hurling Kerry
The MTU Kerry Campus Sports Scholarship helped me to get a place on my chosen course Health & Leisure. It has really boosted my confidence as a player. I have been given the opportunity to play Hurling with students from other counties and also to play in 3rd level competitions which have helped develop my profile as a player.
