It is necessary to ensure that the international office is aware that you intend to travel on the coach well in advance. This service is included in the Non EU fee tuition fees and no charge applies to these Non EU students.
Kerry Airport - IT Tralee will arrange free transportation for any students arriving into Kerry Airport (15kms from Campus). It is necessary to ensure that you confirm arrival and transportation well in advance of arrival with the IT Tralee international office. This service is included in the Non EU fee tuition fees and no charge applies to these Non EU students.
The Student Orientation Programme held on the first week of term is designed to assist in the students successful transition from their home institution to 3rd level here in Tralee and to promote and encourage students personal academic success and individual development. The Orientation Programme is the first step in integrating students into the academic and social life of IT Tralee and the local community. The aim of the programme is to familiarise new students with the range of support services and social activities available in IT Tralee so that they can enter the Institute informed and confident about the upcoming years at IT Tralee.
It also introduces the student to the staff involved in the delivery of these services, and covers administrative details with regard to registration and examinations, academic briefing on course content and structure and an opportunity to find out more about the structure, functions and operation of the Students Union, the library and Computer and Careers Services.
The Orientation Programme is compulsory for all new students to the Institute. If a student for some reason is unable to attend his/her scheduled orientation programme, he/she should contact the International Office without delay for a brief introduction to the staff and the services: Contact Us
