  The aim of this module is to develop the student¿s level of critical thinking, creativity and innovation in relation to their particular discipline, with appropriate regard to ethical considerations. The module will foster continuing professional development and lifelong learning.

Learning Strategies
This module is designed to combine a number of teaching and learning strategies which, in addition to acquiring critical thinking skills, students will interpret and apply relevant theories and techniques in the context of the students? core discipline. These teaching and learning strategies will include online content materials and resources, lectures, group exercises and directed in-class discussions.
Workshops/Practical will take place weekly to explore the concepts covered in class. During these sessions it will be expected that students will lead the discussion by researching and preparing assigned tasks. It is expected that all students will actively participate in the learning experience. The workshop/practicals will also be used to demonstrate and support the individual reflective and group process.<br>

Assessment Strategies
The students will identify and apply the problem solving evolution process as applied to an area of critical thinking. Each student is required to keep a log of this process(10%) and will present (20%) and submit a reflection of this process (10%).
Final Written Exam incorporating brief case study(ies) analysis.
