Module Description/Aims:

  ¿ To provide the students with the competence to analyse and understand the framework conditions necessary for entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial development in the context of social norms and prevailing economic conditions.
¿ To examine entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial structure and activity across different sectors of the economy.
¿ To critically compare and contrast entrepreneurial success in a global context with the Irish experience.

Assessment Strategies
Group assignment - interview with an entrepreneur.
Knowledge and comprehension of module concepts will be assessed by an individual assignment to be submitted at the end of the semester. This assessment will consist of a reflective diary.
Repeat assessment will require the student to resubmit the relevant document and attend a viva voce to defend same.
