1Examine the evolution of the employer/employee relationship to gain an overall understanding of its contribution to HRM as we know it today.
2Identify the important stages of the HRP process, and review the different forms of recruitment and selection techniques.
3Explore the function of an effective performance management system and recognise its role in attracting and retaining staff.
4Understand the different forms of incentive schemes and explain the importance of an attractive pay and compensation package.
5Examine the importance of HRD in creating a long term relationship between the hotel and the employee.
