Learning Strategies
Lectures to provide the theoretical underpinning for Physical Education among younger children
Practical contexts during which pedagogical skills are cultivated. These practical sessions will involve simulations of different situations and will culminate in the planning and delivery of Physical Education
Group discussion on current theories and issues relating to physical education among young children
Interdisciplinary learning, where students place educational theories studied in other modules into a Physical Education context

Assessment is 100% Continuous Assessment. Students submit a mandatory logbook . They complete a Teaching Practice folder - the rationale validates the choice of material in six session plans from academic perspectives
