On successful completion of the module, the learner will be able to:

1Differentiate between the care required for an injured or ill casualty in a remote location or front-country location
2Learners will be able to lead groups on lowland walks: Learners will complete the Mountaineering Ireland award - Lowland Leader.
3Lead a variety of groups in a woodland or "forest school" learning experience
4Take responsibility for the organisation of a mini-expedition with a group camping in an outdoor environment
5Take on the responsibility of a President's Award Leader (PAL) in guiding young people through the bronze Gaisce award
