Module Description/Aims:

  The module will enable learners to devise, plan and lead an adventurous expedition in a wilderness area. It will also prepare learners to facilitate review and reflection sessions as part of a outdoor based personal development programme.

Adventure Expedition planningPlanning of a 10-day wilderness expedition in a suitable location. Involving students in the logistics, planning, leadership, facilitation, first aid scenarios, weather forecasting, emergency route planning, extensive walking and canoeing
