Module Description/Aims:

  This module will develop understanding of the acquisition of movement and sports skills and the development of motor patterns. It will also introduce the learning of physical skills and the recognition of delayed, dissociated and deviant development and their implications for motor skill learning. It will incorporate a NGB Coaching qualification(s) to illustrate how at an introductory level teaching and learning requires students to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours that enable them to maintain good health and acquire motor skills.
