Module Description/Aims:

  To develop the concept of pedagogy to teaching and learning
To analyse the dimensions of pedagogy
To focus on pedagogy in the context of their own learning and that of peers
Identify and evaluate educational concepts and issues related to Physical Education and to engage in critical debate about current educational issues in Physical Education, drawing on evidence from theory, research and practice
Recognise pupils learning needs in Physical Education and interpret them in order to plan, teach, assess and evaluate lessons and schemes of work in Physical Education
