Professional Development/Work Placement 1The practical application of teaching methodologies; planning, presenting and evaluating learning activities that can also embrace the concept of difference, cultural and linguistic diversity when required; exploration of ideas for organizing and implementing activities; considering how activities may be extended, modified or reinforced; consideration of optimum moments and methods of intervention to facilitate learning; encouraging sustained shared thinking with young children; supporting play and learning through interaction; observation skills in practice; the reflective educarer in the early years context, reflective review of placement experiences in relation to professional development.
