  The learner will undertake a work based learning module in the hospitality sector. The work based learning enables the learner to apply, develop and integrate skills sets within each relevant working department within the hotel and will apply theoretical and practical knowledge gained in their studies.

Assessment Strategies
All learning outcomes will be assessed on an onging basis by means of task lists, work based learning reflective journals, written reports, presentations and performance appraisals
Learners must complete task lists in each relevant department (Pass/Fail)
Employers must complete a performance appraisal for each year (Pass/Fail)
Tutor will visit each establishment once a year to verify training record
