Telling the Story (Quality Content Generation)

30th March, 2012.

Traditionally the written or spoken word was the one means of telling a story. Today stories are told through such various media as radio, film, music, animation, and a scala of web-related channels. Stories can now be delivered instantaneously and world-wide. But the demand for a "quality" story has remained unchanged.

With such easy and immediate access to narrative, how can we continue to ensure the quality of its content?

A one day symposium to examine and answer this question will take place in the Solas Building. IT. Tralee North Campus on Friday

Speakers include:

  • Philip King, Hummingbird Productions.
  • Fionn Kidney, Science Gallery, Trinity College.
  • Terry Prone, Communications Clinic
  • Paul Dolan, FAS
  • Fiona Stack, Radio Kerry.
  • Peter Windle, RTE
  • Jerry Kennelly, tweak. com
  • Johnny Kelly, Nexus Productions.
  • Sabina Bonicci, fizzythinking.com
  • Karl Wallace, Siamsa Tire
