An Educational, Fun Activity this Summer for your Child?

Munster Technological University on the Kerry campus is hosting an experiential, interactive and creative week long Online Summer Camp for children between the ages of 9 and 14. The Online Camp will run for 3 hours each morning, Monday to Friday and is suitable for beginners.

The Camp creates a fun, safe, online learning based environment for your child to explore the wonderful world of Coding, Animation and Music Technology!

Coding activities will take place using a graphical programming tool similar to Scratch.

All participants will receive a pack to the value of €70 by post containing the following items:

• Pocket Sized Micro bit computer
• MicroSoft Webcam
• Drawing Robot

To receive these free items, please ensure you enter your full postal address during registration!

The cost is €20 per child. A waiver of the fee will be considered depending on your circumstances, please email steamingonline@ittralee.ie

Each camp will run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday to Friday and there are 4 different start dates to choose from!

Note: It is the same camp each week and you will be required to purchase plasticine prior to the camp start date (details will be emailed to you in advance).

Camp 1: 5th June - 9th July

Camp 2: 12th July - 16th July

Camp 3: 19th July to 23rd July

Camp 4: 26th July to 30th July

All online camps are supervised by Garda vetted personnel. Full details on how to join online and get set up will be provided closer to the event.

Early registration is advised as camps book out fast.
