The Institute of Technology, Tralee has a vibrant and growing research portfolio and is at the forefront of innovative and applied research. The research strategy being pursued by the Institute is one which will both further the educational development of our students and enable the Institute to enhance the economic, social and cultural life of the region it serves. Applications are currently being sought from suitably qualified graduates interested in pursuing a Masters by Research degree in the area of Tourism funded under the Institutes 2016 Postgraduate Scholarship programme. The project is of a 17 month duration with a targeted commencement date in January 2017 and completion date in May 2018. Graduates holding a relevant Level 8 Honours Degree (H2:2 or Higher) are invited to submit an application. The successful applicant will be awarded a bursary of €8,500 (€500 per month for a duration of 17 months) and the Institute will cover all student fees, for a maximum period of 17 months. Postgraduate students are expected to complete their studies full-time at the Institute.
