Sports Scholarship
You could be eligible for one of the many scholarships offered at the Institute of Technology, Tralee. The Institute has a variety of scholarships available to all students in a range of disciplines and which are supported by community organisations and the Institute.
The scholarships reward excellence and encourage outstanding performance in a variety of fields. Scholarships are provided in recognition of academic excellence and some are awarded to talented sports athletes and performers/artists.

MUNSTER GAA BURSARY SCHEME VALUE: €1,000 per year, subject to satisfactory academic performance each year
DURATION: Two year maximum subject to annual reapplication and review

Tralee R.F.C Club Scholarship Application Form
THOMAS McELLISTRIM MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
FOR: A student who has attended a second level school in Kerry who validly registers on either the BSc (Honours) in General Nursing or the BSc (Honours) in Mental Health Nursing at IT, Tralee.
VALUE: €1,000
DURATION: One academic year
HOW TO APPLY: The scholarship will be awarded to the student obtaining the highest points in the Leaving Certificate Examination and who is not already in receipt of a scholarship
TRALEE CREDIT UNION SCHOLARSHIP
FOR: Students in receipt of the ESF Student Assistance Fund and who are members
of Tralee Credit Union will be considered for the scholarship
VALUE: Two scholarships of €1,000 per year
DURATION: One academic year
HOW TO APPLY: Students who are in receipt of the ESF Student Assistance Fund can opt to be considered for the scholarship as part of their application
FOR: Students who intend pursuing the BA in Performing Arts - Folk Theatre Studies
VALUE: €1,000 per year in 2009
DURATION: Students will be eligible to receive this grant for the duration of the programme i.e. the four years, subject to satisfactory academic performance

MASTERS OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTING SCHOLARSHIP
FOR: Five scholarships will be offered to full-time students of the Master of Science in Computing
VALUE: €2,500
DURATION: One academic year
