When I was a second level student I didn’t have any interest in going to college I just wanted to get a job so I went straight into work after school. After a year I got tired of working for the minimum wage. I had always been involved in Youth Groups and decided to do PLC course in Social Care. Then I applied as a Pathfinder to study Youth and Community Studies in the IT Tralee. It was the best decision I have ever made and a career in Youth Work is definitely the right choice for me.
