Most accommodation is within walking or cycling distance of the Institute. You may also avail of a shuttle bus service from the town centre to the Institute. Please note the Institute Of Technology, Tralee does not own or manage any student accommodation. All accommodation is privately owned and managed.

Concerning long term accommodation, houses and apartments rented to students in Ireland are usually furnished. Please ensure that you are given a written contract and read it carefully before signing.
You should consider the following options :
Apartments - (Kerry Lee Student Village, Coisceim Village, Tralee Town Centre Apartments, King's Court Student Apartments, Oakfield Court & Tennis Village) These can be contacted via contact information below and are available for one semester or year. You can book these in advance using the information below.
Houses - many students rent a house and share the costs (see Estate Agents, Students Union, local newspapers etc). This option is suitable if you are staying for the full academic year or at least a full semester. Contact the Students Union ( www.ittraleesu.ie/ ) on arrival for updated information.
Staying with a family - this option may suit some students but has limitations. Information from Students Union on arrival.
If you are waiting to organise your accommodation until you arrive in Tralee you may wish to book into one of the following options for the first few nights you arrive in Tralee to give you time to search for a long term rental;
