Tuition Fee Refund Policy

Tuition fees received by IT Tralee will be refunded in full (less a €150 administrative fee) once the student provides evidence that they have been refused an Irish study visa.

Any refund to a student who has registered in IT Tralee will only be considered once IT Tralee has received confirmation from the visa issuing authorities that the withdrawing student's study visa has been surrendered.

Where IT Tralee secures accommodation for the applicant, a non refundable accommodation deposit will apply. Applicants do have the option to secure accommodation themselves and therefore not be subject to the non refundable accommodation deposit, provided that adequate notice of same (2 months prior to programme commencement) is given and acknowledged in writing to international@ittralee.ie

Students who withdraw from their programme after registration (includes IT Tralee facilitated pre sessional English unless otherwise specified) will not be entitled to a full refund. A partial refund of 50% of tuition fees paid will be considered if the student withdraws up to 2 weeks after the programme commences. No refund will be considered once two weeks have elapsed after the programme has commenced.  Students who avail of late registration after the programme commences will not be eligible for additional time.

Tuition fee refunds (partial or full) will also be considered on a case by case basis (but not guaranteed)  where a verifiable medical issue has arisen which prevents the student from continuing on their programme of studies.
